I am adding a grave digger and an old mother zombie in a rocking chair prop this year. Probably no animation. Maybe auto rocking the chair. I will use PVC for the bodies. But what I need help with is the faces/heads. The wig for the woman will be easy enough. But I need a good face. I am willing to use masks for both. That will probably be the easiest way. I don't want to hand make the faces. I am not there yet. Also an old style night gown for the woman would be good too. Any sites or suggestion are welcome and appreciated. Thanks.

Death Studios has a great selection of masks. Great quality and detail. They also make hands to match most of their masks.

I found the old man mask at Big Lots last year for my grave digger. I used a PVC frame and chicken wire around the torso for bulk and pool noodles for arm and leg bulk. A styrofoam head was under the mask and I used polyfill to add some more padding under the mask. I made my PVC frame adjustable by not gluing the joints but drilling holes through the connectors and inserting nails (#6 finishing) in the holes. This makes storing the prop a lot easier. I drilled some holes through the shoes and drove rebar through the shoes in the ground to support the digger. Just add some old clothes and a hat and we were done. I spent less than $20 building this prop.

I've always had alot of good luck finding what I need at the local Goodwill store or thrift shops. Old out of style nightgowns, wedding dresses, tux, workboots, flannel shirts ect. Hope this helps!
