I made this device to control simple props and pneumatics. Some props do not need a prop controller so I created this. These are wireless so no cords to trip over.

Great for setting off different scenes just when they think they know the routine. Gives you control if you would like to bypass the little ones who scare easy.

These are perfect for pop ups, spitters, ankle ticklers, air cannons, lights, solenoids, any 120v source etc. Use your imagination.

Each unit is wireless and can have 1, 2, or 4 triggers. As well as 2,4,8 plugs to power your props(2 on each trigger). It is possible to do 8 and 16 but that is very confusing to use.

??What button triggered the acid spitter?? Oh yeah 14??

Soldered to a mircocontroller and housed in a box for a clean look. 2 plugs run the unit. A 12v for the microcontroller and a 120v for the devices.

The 4 version has (4)20Amp 120v relays while to 2 version has (2)15Amp 120v relays

Each trigger input has the ability to be NO or NC.

I am very happy with the results and love this little unit.

    Take a look:

Looks pretty awesome! Why not put a rectifier inside it for the 12v instead of a separate plug?

Nice work..pretty awesome. I think it's even more cool to me that you hooked up those clip on's to power... how'd you do that? Unless theres a tutorial around here...

    Thanks

Those lights use (3) 1.5 volt bats or 4.5 volts total, you just have to solder a 3-4.5 power supply to each light.

That's a pretty cool controller ! It is nice to have a separate controller like you said, to bypass lil ones or keep'em guessing if they go thru more than once / someone tells them "watch out for the ( whatever it is )"...... nice & sneaky !

I've used x10 type systems in the past, but I like your setup better.

What's the difference between the one you made and like the one pictured below? I know yours can probably handle more amp but what other difference?

Yes it can handle a little bit more. Those are 10amp. I have used these in the past and I had ok results. They don't interfer but sometimes they lag behind the presses. Not sure if it is a frequency thing but they remind me of x10.

You have to switch the button twice to turn on/off then again on/off. This can be a pain if you have a device like an air cannon for instance. I would rather hold the button down to release air then have to click twice.

You have the ability to change from NO to NC, this could benefit you if you wanted lights to be on all the time, then turn off when you hit the button.

Nice job!! If I'm understanding this the way it is set up when you trigger "A" you're turning on both outlets on the "A" channel ? So you can control 4 devices ,but only 2 channels? Again nice job!!

Yes, you are correct. If you have 2 things on input 1 then there will go off at the same time. This is great for timed lighting or anything you can think of.

Examples set to N. O. Normally Open

An air cannon blast, with a flash of light.

A barrel pop up cylinder(solenoid), and a fog machine filling it with fog(you would need a relay on the fog switch/remote)

A coffin banger cylinder(solenoid), or creature crate that raises and lights the coffin with each knock.

A wiper motor or servo spinning, and lifting a haunted chessboard via cylinder(solenoid).

Exploding fuse box with E-crackers go off and lights flicker and pulse.

Examples set to N. C. Normally Closed

Lights turn off and ankle tickler wiggles and hits your feet.

Sound stops and lights go from crackle and flicker to off. Great for a power outage

Most people use N. O so it is a little harder to find examples. Sometimes I think N.C. has some great scares though.
