That's perfectly gruesome! What did you use to make the muscle?

OMG that IS pretty gruesome muscle! I am also very impressed with your idea to change a plain birdcage. I have looked for years at garage sales for a nice decorative one with no luck and this one looks awesome!

    thank you

for the muscle i just used the common everyday eyeball made from a ping pong ball ( i think everyone has them laying around lol) and then carefully dripped hot glue from it at the low heat setting and was blowing on it to get it to cool and harden b4 it dripped off.
after a few burnt fingures and a lil red and blue and watered down brown acrylic paint i soon had a gross eyeball to feed to the baby bird waiting inside the cage

i cant take credit for eyeball muscle idea though, i saw it somewhere on this site . (i think????)

    thanks

i too looked for a long time for a cool looking birdcage but they are too expensive ...so i decided too make one

the plastic fencing was also bought at goodwill a few days later for $3 a bundle and then i cut it apart and glued it on, and accented it with a lil acrylic paint and tried to make it look old and a lil rusty or antiqued.

im also thinking of maybe adding a old rusty metal water bowl inside to give it a lil more attention... hmmm maybe a severed finger sticking out of the bowl too?????? what do ya think?

here is a b4 pic ( btw the baby crow is just a lil bird also found at goodwill and i spray painted it black lol)

Totally gross! I have that exact plastic fencing on my gates btw. I have tons left over and never thought to cut it to add detail to anything. I need to make a new top section to my gate columns and know exactly what to do now. Thanks for the idea!
