    Trying to do a ritual room in my haunt this year - I want a bunch of black hooded characters (fake) with a few real ones in the mix. Does anybody have ideas on how to do a freestanding hooded figure in the middle of the room?

    You could do a basic PVC form and have it standing on an X or H made of PVC. Maybe some chicken wire under the robes to fill out the body more. They're lightweight & sturdy, depending on the diameter of the PVC.

    I've used Christmas tree stands in the past to make figures stand up. Seems like a waste to only use one for just one holiday and for only a couple of weeks
