Hey everyone, I assembled my trash can trauma prop today, and when I turned on the air compressor, the cylinder went up (without me activating the solenoid) and then would not go back down until I turned off the compressor. The solenoid made a clicking sound when activated by the picaboo, but nothing happened. At this point, I will buy a kit or anything to get it working. I have a professional haunt planned this year.
    Creepy.

i checked and it is not. I switched the airlines both ways, and neither worked. I think im going to buy a new solenoid. It is a double acting cylinder.
    Creepy.

If you cylinder raises..or extends the hoses should be switched around. The A and B on the solenoid should match the inputs on your solenoid. Make sure your solenoid is correct. A 5 way has 2 exhausts, 2 inputs, and one main line where the compressor goes in.

    Usually

A and B are for the cylinders
The bottom middle is the main (P)
on the left and right of this main are the exhausts (R and S)

The relay could be defective, although it usually doesn't happen very often. Can you take a picture of the solenoid and post it here. Do you have a 12v power supply attached to it?
