Remember Dragula from the Munsters? Not the Munsters' Coach, their family car, but the drag racer Herman and Grandpa made.
I want to make something similar, but electric powered, and was wondering if anybody else tried a similar project. I'm thinking of using a toe-pincher I already have, kids' bicycle wheels in the front, riding lawnmower tires in the back, rollbar, lanterns for headlights and a tombstone radiator. Not sure how to build the frame (I don't have a welder and can't weld anyway) or how to make it steer. Any ideas?
What other decorative things might you add?

Volo auto museum has one for sale!

George Barris was a genius! They have many of his car designs there. Cool place to spend the day. And almost everything is for sale.

Wow! It's great to see the thing in color! I'll have to try to get there some day.
I'm going with the 2x4 frame; not sure why I didn't think of that already--this isn't a real car. I've also figured out how to make the front wheels steer (old school go-cart style) but I'm still puzzling over the real wheels.Never, ever pick a scab.

Don't forget to blast Rob Zombie's "Dragula" song from under the hood! Or you could play it while you work for inspiration!
