I'm starting on my Blucky "skirmish" scene, and I need some ideas to pose my Bluckys. Do you use wire, rods, PVC, or...? I want to have them holding swords 'n' shields. I have a cool recording of a battle scene from a movie, using that and a strobe light should get me a good effect for the TOTS. HM
You said you wanna what? with who? I don't think so!

I use conduit pipe as a main stand for my bluckies. To pose the arms, I use 4mm metal rods that I put inside the arms.

I saw somewhere where someone used a dowel placed up there butt and then driven into the ground. Then just hot glue the joints in the positions you want. That's all I did for mine and it worked great only had to reglue one arm!

Dowels, wire and PVC all work (I've use / done all three).

Use PVC when the Blucky has to support any weight.

Pros: Very strong (when the PVC Joints are glued), can hold the blucky up with PVC in their feet by sliding it over a stake in the ground.

Cons: Lots of cutting involved, harder to hide joints, next to impossible to change once you glue the PVC

Use Dowels and hot glue if the blucky is not required to hold anything of real weight.
instead of hot glue, you can use expanding foam also works really well and you can trim it.

Pros: Less work, easy to do, more flexibility
Cons: Will need to "play" with it to find the correct dowel length and size. Will need to method to have it stand up, if required

Use Wires if your not sure of the pose you want
Pros: easy to change the pose, easiest method & most flexible
Cons: Not the sturdiest (Thicker wire will cure that), will need a way to make them stand.

I use all three, I really like the wire method. My current project has the lower body in wires and the upper in PVC! I hope this helps.
Making the world a funnier place, one blucky at a time

One way to reduce the cons for the PVC - screw the joints instead of gluing them. You'll still have the strength, but more flexibility to change your mind about the pose.
