My workplace is doing a bit of office renovating. They have a bunch of chairs which they are throwing away that have Pneumatic cylinders to adjust the height of the chair.

Does anyone know of someone has used such a thing for a prop? I haven't taken one of these apart. So I'm not sure how the lever works to allow movement to occur.

Any thoughts?
