One of my new props for 2011 is a large meat grinder. I give credit to Devil's Chariot for the inspiration for this prop...his is amazing and you should check it out.
The main part of the prop has been built. There are two wooden gears driven by a wiper motor. I have a shiatsu massager in the top that will move "body pieces" around as they appear to go into the grinder. The front "flange" I made from PVC, wood, and bolts as I could not find a decent cheap one to buy. The "meat" will be coming out of here (a blood soaked mop head) along with a pump that I have hooked up to spray "blood". The plan is also to have a skeleton with one of my 3-axis skulls pushing the body parts into the grinder.
I got the grinder primed this weekend and just recieved my order of Brutal Rust...going to put that on to make the grinder look and old and rusty.

Update: First coat of "rust" added...still along way to go.

Looks like a real quality job, nice job. Saw a grinder costume on coolest-homemade-costumes.com with the person standing in a meat grinder setup/costume; I loved it, my wife less so!
