Thread: What should I decorate my yard as? Farm or Insane asylum?

Farm: I could do a cemetery(like a family cemetery) and corn stalks and hay
Insane Asylum: cemetery, operation room, arch way, bars on windows, etc.....

I think you should do the cemetery. That what I'm doing...with corn stocks and graves and zombies

Ya cemetery its just a lot of fun. And there are so many things you can do. I am making a 12 foot scare crow inside some corn stalks next to my cemetery

I think it would be interesting if you did the asylum or sanitorium. You could still have the cemetery (mass stones identical but marked with different numbers), but leave the yard overgrown, with rusted looking wheelchairs/overturned gurneys out in the yard. And have escaped patients wandering the yard. Little dolls, and rusted toys (old tricycle), bars on the windows, with a strobe lights in a room going and maybe a cut out shadow to make it look like an operating room from the road. An aged asylum sign out front with flickering lights, low lying fog, and soft sounds of people talking or screams to give it a really eerie effect.

I always love the abandoned house idea!
