I'm lookingto add a "spark / flash" effect for my Tim "The Toolman" Taylor Zombie (he is being electrocuted). Does the E-Cracker flash? I plan on using that for sound, but I also want the flash. Worst comes to worst I can use a flashing LED. I just wonder if there is a better way? Any suggestions?

Oh, yeah, it flashes. A blinding flash to be exact.

Just my opinion but I think you need a more contentious flash of electricity than the E-Cracker can give you.

I was under the impression that the E Cracker wasn't suppose to fire but a couple seconds then it needs to be off for a few seconds. I'm sure Terra could answer that better than I can.

When I picture Tim Taylor screwing up I see it as over the top and with a huge plug and lots of electricity coming from it. I have a ideal of rope lights painted to give it the look of a electrical cord-drop cord with small slits running down the side connected to a flicker light controller to make it look like electricity....with the E cracker to give you the first big flash and the boom.

I have a controller and some rope lights so sometime tomorrow I will give it a test run and see if it will work and take a video of it. Most of the time things look better when you're just thinking about them this could be of those times.
