OK, so I went by the local Garden Ridge after seeing on another post that they started putting Halloween items out and yep they have. My question to everyone is, which is better and would hold up better?
The Bargain Basement Barney available here

OR
The Garden Ridge Skeleton
I am going to have him stand from a sitting position via a two way air cylinder, so there will be quite a bit of stress over the long haul.
Thoughts? Opinions. Much appreciated.

I don't think many folks here are familiar with the Garden Ridge skeleton (at least I've never heard mention of it here). Can you post a picture and/or description of it? You can't make a comparison without any information about it.

Pumpkinhead, there are ZERO Garden Ridge stores in MD, that's why we've never heard of them.
Someone else will have to enlighten us on the diff between the 2.Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

I've never owned one, but here's a pic of the Garden Ridge full-sized skeletons.

ELH(Erin Loves Halloween) bought some in 2009, so she might be able to speak to the quality and resiliance of the Garden Ridge skeletons.

Back in 2009, they were $49 each. I have no idea what they're charging now.
Here is ELH's original thread: Great awesome bucky/blucky at garden ridge!

It's hard to tell size from the pic, but the Garden Ridge one looks short in the pic of the person holding it. The Barney is 5 ft 6" tall.

I bought a Barney last winter, and from ELH's description, it looks to be a closely similar (if not the same) skeleton. I paid about $65.00 plus shipping.

Sorry I should have snapped some pics when I was in the store. I will try to get by there again and maybe take a couple. They are asking $49.99 this year.
