I to want to build a FCG this year and want to display it outdoors, I've seen a few things around that some people have built a frame out of PVC, the mount the rig inside, cover with black plastic. Weigh it down or anchor to the ground to withstand wind. Make sure the motor is protected from rain and any type of moisture.
I have also seen mausoleums built for them out of thick foam board. it should go without saying but, any frame work or interior to the structure should be painted black.
Wish I could help more.

Hysterical! Are we all having the same thought at the same time? I've been looking and actually came across a video on Hauntcast of a Mausoleum build. Make a frame out of wood, cover with foam board...he also used foam pipe covers for the rounded front. I believe he said the instructions were in the book 'how to haunt your house'. I can't find the vid on the hauntcast website...but i found it easily on the app.
Hope that helps."Oh no, no," said the little Fly, "for I've often heard it said
They never, never wake again, who sleep upon your bed!"

I use google to search these forums.
enter: building a crypt site:www.halloweenforum.com
You'll likely pull up a lot of stuff. It's the fastest and most productive way to search forums that I have found.
Click on this link as an example: LINK
It nets quite a bit of stuff that will likely be useful for you. It even pulls up this thread!

I did a search for mausoleum and crypt, and I found this TK421's...
Haunted Hollow Mausoleum Build
His mausoleum is amazing and would work just as well for an FCG.
Another good build thread:
Mausoleum Progress
http://www.hauntproject.com/projdeta...tegory=Facades
Has several good crypt/mausoleums
I did a collapsable crypt, but the wind did a number on it every year and we retired it after a couple of uses. If you live in a windy area... don't use my build.

I built the mausoleum that Growler linked to. I mostly used TK421's plans for the framing, and it went pretty smoothly. If you have any questions about the framing/detailing along the way, I'm here to help.

I used HF member TK421's plans: you can see my version under my profile album. These projects are usually never really *cheap* by the time you buy the materials. Not $500 but I think I spent atleast $100 by the time you get foam board, wood, glue, screws, corner brackets and paint/drylock/brushes. You need storage for wood-foam structures once disassembled. I reuse the same black plastic sheeting on the inside I got from Walmart in the paint section--cut to roughly fit and staple to the wood slats--you could use black latex paint on the inside I assume as well. At night it isn't really glossy like the photo with the black light on.
I haven't seen the PVC fram and plastic setup--doesn't sound as real or solid looking but should be compact when disassembled. Besides, props don't always have to look that real to get the effect.
Always make sure to stake your crypt down. My crypt got smahed against a horse fence less then 24hrs after putting it out after a severe wind storm(I still have old pics to post--it was a sad sight! Salvaged everything but the roof). The structure is weighty but there is a lot of surface area for wind to grab. Now I sink 4 long pieces of iron rebar into the ground and tie heavy rope from eye bolts installed at the bottom wood frame to the stakes.
Good luck, I love having a crypt with a FCG (purple FCG is from Kentucky FX).
