Zombieville is pleased to announce that after an exhaustive search we have hired a full time maintenance person. He has quite the resume: Top salesmen for Binford Tools and a host of his very own TV home improvement show: "Tool Time"

Tim's big job is to help in setting of the power for the big night. Here he is....

In his Hips I placed a "shaking Hedge Monster". The heavy support was needed so he would shake more. I have a dowel running through him with the motor attached to it. But the dowel absorbed allot and there wasn't enough shaking in the head and legs. The old 2x4 cured that.

I moved the heads hole so it would shake better, I like this and will do it to all my Bluckies from now on. For the eyes I used a pair of those Plastic eyes that roll around when moved. The hands are from Crayola Model Magic. I didn't add any clothes or such. I'm afraid they will hide the shaking. Who knows maybe in a month or so I might add a tool belt.

In the video you will see him in daylight. I'm pretty happy with the movement.
The night portion has the two types of lighting I'm debating. The first is the light (Darklight Precision Z, with a attachment that makes it flash in a random pattern) on the outside. I plan on using a white light, but only had a Green handy. The second, the light is in his chest to make it glow. Don't mind the dummy (me) that got in way of the camera. Please let me know which version you like best, because I can't make up my mind.

I can totally see him holding a jackhammer too with that shaking. lol I think a tool belt will bring some more "life" to him.

Too cool & funny, love it ! Maybe hide a small strobe on fast behind hands to simulate electricity sparking with the "power" cord in his hands.......
One of those E-crackers would be perfect for this !

That's great! I love the expression on his face and the way the eyes google around.
I bought one of those hedge monster things from Big Lots last year on sale. I also found two of the shaking "eyes in the bushes" at K-mart for $1.50 each.
I always thought about putting one of the shaking motors in a blucky, maybe have him shaking a fence or something.
But I like your version a lot better. Really great prop!

Thanks everyone, I'm going to Toys R us this weekend for a tool belt. I will try the E-Cracker, good idea and I thank you for sharing it.
