Our trampoline finally gave up the ghost (no pun intended). The aluminium frame is going to recycling center but I need ideas for the bounce mat itself. Its a heavy sturdy weave material and I would hate to throw it away if It could be used for something else.

Any ideas, Halloween related or not would be appreciated.

Haha that's funny...our trampoline did the same thing and I refused to throw out the mat as well...I figured it would work well as a scrim or something...but not entirely sure how I'll use it in the haunt...hopefully u get some good ideas!!

How about making a frame that is close to the ground down a hallway in your haunt. When people step on it they sink down. They will get a spongy effect, but get a firm feeling after two or three inches. Combination of the sinking spongy feeling and the darkness might drive them crazy.

This isn't that bad of an idea. It is similar to scrim. You can project onto it! or, use it for man-to-monster transformation effects similar to a Peppers Ghost routine. Maybe you can cut it into 7ft a 3.5ft stips and make it look like an open grave plot.

I haven't seen one up close so not sure if these ideas work.

If it's solid you can die it, cut it to shape and have a large blood pool to lay on the ground. I did the same with clear plastic office chair mat. Spraypainted it red, then laid it under a corpse. Easy to roll up for the next year and it will lay on grass.

You can cut it into a large spiderweb that you can string up every year with fishing line.

Cut to shape to make a backdrop for Hallowindow or some such.

Hot glue the half clear xmas ornaments (the ones that come in halves that you can fill) onto it and then paint it glossy black. Instand tar pit.

Paint it bright blue with highlights and you have water for a pirate/water scene.

Make a parachute out of it and have a hanging corpse in a tree. Just a couple ideas.
