I bought the Flesh eating Zombie from Spirit in Canada. The price was $219. It is quite a mark-up from the price in the States. I used a 20% off coupon and after taxes he was $198. I really love the movement but I'm already having issues with the motion sensor not working. I'm hoping it is just a loose wire. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

The floor model at our Spirit Store was malfunctioning the first week it was open. It's a nice looking prop but I'm hoping it's more durable.

I noticed on mine, thatI need to keep some sort of light towards the sensor for it to work.

This in the reviews on Spirit, the motion sensor is located in the mouth, you need an upward angled light shining toward the mouth, some said a strobe worked well.

I always put a spot light infront of my major props so it doesn't matter to me about the light activation. Thanks for telling where the sensor is!

I thought it was motion and light activated by its only light activated.

With light on it it works all the time. Problem: I don't really like constant light on him. With the strobe light it SOMETIMES activates. My husband said it only worked sometimes because of the placement of the sensor (right below his bottom teeth). Because his head moves, not enough light reaches the sensor sometimes so it doesn't activate (when you disturb the constant light).

Solution so he always works with strobe light on him: My husband carefully took the sensor out and placed it on his shirt/collar. With the strobe placed right in front of the sensor it activates all the time.

I think my husband Ben wrote that review. Hope this helps!

FYI: he is now on sale for $149.99. If you use 20% off coupon (weareback) the total w/o tax&shipping is $119.99 or so.
