Trying to stain skels today, but it's so fricking hot I'm sweating on the bones!!! ARGH!
I decided to try to make a Mister Thrifty hold onto a couple of PVC candles, but the weather's not cooperating. Every time I get his hands in the right shape, he stays toooooo warm and flattens out. Guess I'll have to move him into the A/C... Hey, wait a minute, I should be in the cool too!!

Summer Heat + Stain = un-good times
Make iced tea instead. I wait until the evening (when I can) for the same reason. My little studio isn't climate controlled either

I hear you guys. I work in the garage or on the driveway. High humidity and heat just don't mix well with humans. I usually like the heat but, I'm staying inside today. Except a drive to go see Transformers in 3d.

Same problem here. I live in AZ and it is an oven out in my garage this time of year. Lil Ghouliete and I have not made much progress on our latest two headstones because of the heat. I did start putting together a FCG inside though, so I figure, at least we are making some progress on our Cemetery for this year.

It is miserable here in Texas, too! We have toe pincher coffins to make and this heat is unbearable! Wish we had an air conditioned workshop! Ah, my very own 'little shop of horrors' minus the stupid alien man eating plant (I hate that movie).

Sorry, I can't feel sorry for you. Here in Seattle we haven't even had spring yet, let alone summer. Cold and rainy here, again!

Here in the Nati - the heat is oppressive to say the least. MysterE tried to glue some foam pieces together for one of our new Headstone props. No go. Glue simply will not cooperate. We have one of those big industrial fans. It barely makes a dent (other than to blow shards of plastic foam all over the neighbors' yards....
)
I suggested we invest in one of those little air conditioners for the garage window so we could work in some relative comfort - but the cost of trying to AC an un-insualted space would eat up all our prop funds. Not even the mosquitos are out! No end in sight either. Did this happen last year? Sheesh..." TO SERVE MAN " ... IT'S A COOKBOOK!"

Ugh, heat & humidity! My home is right by a pair of lakes in Florida, and the humidity is ungodly. Which has caused all kinds of havoc w/ project drying times. The two best days we've had weather wise, (cloudy & rainy, but cooler) I've had to work until well after nightfall. So I missed out

With $300+ power bills here atm, using the window a/c in the garage is a no-go for sure.
