We are thinking of a Pirate themed haunt for our backyard this year.
Over the weekend I made a sign similar to the one used in POTC The Curse Of The Black Pearl. I used 2 x 6ft dogear fence pickets, 4ft of rope, black acrylic paint and Krylon spray wood stain/preservative. I drew the lettering free hand and used a Dremmel with router attachment to carve the letters out and provide depth.
What do you think?

i like it , maybe once i get my 3 axis skull built i might do a pirate theme
