I really want to have singing pumpkins, or bust. I bought a projector and a dvd with the music and images last year. I need to convert the files to Avi to get them to download on to my projector. No dice!! Any one have any ideas to either convert the files or how to project from a dvd I have? Thanks for all your help!

I got a very small DVD play last year from the big lots for about $20.
as to converting the DVD to an AVI you might need a RIPPING program like "hand break"
    from the net.
Let me know how it goes I want to do this too. LOL I got a kids projector for under $100 last year and I’m thinking it's not going to work for this kind of idea (maybe for projecting on to a shower curtain over the bed room window effect)

Mpeg streamclip is a free converter - www.squared5.com. I use it & you can converter it to avi,mp4,etc files for your pc, edit, add sound to a video, etc. easy to use.

Be careful of this stuff. A lot of places say "Free Download", which often means the download is free but the program isn't. I've seen where you can get a free download of something that tricks you into buying some other crap software or installs some miracle "tool bar" (read spyware). A good example is the Yahoo version of Firefox that allows you to download Firefox free, but you need to give it permission to access your computer and install all sorts of Yahoo crap. Sad thing is, you can download Firefox directly without having to surrender control of anything.
