I think I'm going to turn one of my mannequins into a Devil Girl for Halloween. But I need some suggestions that is not going to cost me a lot!
Here's what I'm working with.
And I'm going to try to make it look something like one of The Lords of Acids girls. But with some skimpy clothing on.
I'm either going to attempt to remove the white cover or, better yet, spray paint with outdoor paint.
I'm thinking of either getting Halloween devil horns or some sort of mold/ clay.
Still trying to figure out the tail.
Opinions? Advise?

Do you know if it's hollow inside? If so, you could drill a hole to stick a tail you make into the mannequin and then seal it shut around the tail to hold it in place.

Most are hollow, I cut the head off of one to make Headless Horsemen. and spray paint works well on them. I love the pose.
Don't throw that out, I can make that into a......................

sounds like a great prop your wanting to make.
a possible idea for the tail is to use a thick wire and place tubing over it (very very cheap at hardware stores sold by the foot, like 16 cents a foot or depending on thickness needed)
and for the end of the tail use a finial for the end of curtain rods such as the pointed kind similar to the pic you are using as the insperation. then drill a hole where needed in the manaquin and seal it with waterproof sealer/caulk.
the wire will allow you to bend and pose the (tail) as needed.

Yep....spray paint would be the way I'd go. But you know what?...
As much as I like skimpy clad Devil babes, I think she would make a very sexy alluring Female Vampire Queen!
But, you have a great body form to work with and I know what you produce will be awesome!

Painting the face will be key. Getting a good expression will do most of the work.

She has just been painted red. I will have pics in a few days.
The next part is the horns/hair. I'm going to check Party City for horns and discount wigs for now.

I was gonna say a high quality flame red auto paint and a clear coat ( too late) , horns and a tail. horns would be easy, the tail, I dunno.....I woluld try and start with a huge roll of tinfoil and shape it out, then figure a way to add a smooth surface to that? Hmm, good brain teaser. Probably fiberglass...attach it to the form ( male/female principle) with re-bar or pvc pipe maybe.
