Switch a hidden hedge monster (when activated they shake the bush) from batteries to a wall plug? It runs off of 4 AA batteries. Can I even switch it over to a plug? I'm just not sure where to start or what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Four AA's is 6VDC, so a 6 volt wart will do the trick. Batteries have a really steady voltage output, though, so make sure it's regulated or you may burn the motor/LEDs. Just attach the wires from the wart to the connectors at the battery holder. Polarity probably counts - check the wires on the wart to be sure you get it right. Don't leave the batteries in there when using the wart.
You may be able to get by with a 5VDC supply. Old phone chargers are typically 5VDC and well-regulated. Thrift stores have tons of these. If all else fails, you can get more runtime by connecting a 4D pack in place of the 4AA's.

4 AA batteries are generally able to produce say 1500 MAH. So that is 1.5 amps. So you need a Wall Wart that is regulated for 6 volts at 1.5 amps. Likely 1 amp will do but it is hard to tell so it will not hurt to get a more powerful wart. As far as wiring it? Well the battery box will have a red and a black wire connected to it. You will connect the positive from the Wart to the red and the negative to the black. If you like you can take some pictures and we can help.

Okay, here is a stupid one, what is a wall wart? I only understand the basic's, positive, negative. Everything else is pretty much Latin for me.

Here is what I trying to do: Using a blucky, He will be getting shocked (shaking) and glowing from the inside. Think cartoon electrocution. I'm hoping to use LED's if they are bright enough. I used LED's before that worked off 4 AA's so they should work with the same wall wart right?

Finally would Radio Shack have these?

AC power adapter by any other name! They can be bought cheaply at yard sales/thrift stores. It's finding the right one that's the challenge.
Alteranatively you can buy an universal AC adapter, that will allow you to adjust voltage, polarity etc.
