Let's say, hypothetically, someone has a biology instructor who lets them take home brains and hearts and whatnot, after dissection. And, hypothetically, they're already preserved and hanging out in baggies in the garage fridge outside. Because, hypothetically, this someone is a cool mom like that.
How would this someone preserve these in a jar, properly? Formaldehyde? Where could that be obtained? This someone doesn't typically put organic things in witch jars, but this is irresistible.

Really cool hook up and cool mom.lol
I've heard of people using alcohol as a preservative, not sure if it would work here. Maybe ask your biology teacher for the best option.
If all else fails, talk to your local mortician. you never know.

Formalin needs some pretty careful handling. Check the MSDS before making your decision.

BE VERY CAREFUL with the preservatives if you're using stuff like formaldehyde... that stuff is cancer-causing and very, very bad for living creatures.
