Okay, I'm new here and my next prop is going to be a witch stirring a cauldron.

I've read many posts, blogs and tutorials for quite some time and I am just planning it out. We are in the middle of a move so I won't be able to post any progress pictures for a while. This will be at the entrance to our house.

The mask I am going to use is the Wicce mask from Halloween Asylum. A beautiful mask at a great price with a paint job that actually matches its online pic. Great customer service too!

The cauldron will be a modified planter, not huge 22" wide by about 18" high, but once on top of my fire set-up should look pretty good. The witch is going to be hunched over and of a shorter stature to begin with so it will be okay.

I will post pictures when I begin, should be in about 3 weeks. I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for the inspiration. You have been more than helpful with all your wonderful posts and ideas.

    Andy

Consider head movement. I put a small 12v electric gear motor in the neck. It really lent the illusion of more movement than just the arms moving as they are ususally done with the stir stick... I always felt them to be a little too static.

I do love that mask you chose!

What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

Thanks for the comments. Yubney, I do plan to add some head movement as well.
