So I have made some fog chillers and they have failed me. I live in colorado and it get kinda cold during halloween. I think that the chiller isnt making the for cold enough for the weather. I was going to give up on it but I dont have it in me to just let it beat me....lol I need some ideas please.. I have a huge cooler with 3" pvc with holes in it, didnt work.. made it again with the coils of dryer hose for more cooling time...didnt work. made another setup that enters one side and has to go though the ice to exit, this worked the best. I was hoping someone might have a super chiller, lol. I would also like to know if you all use fans to propell it to where you want it or if you just let it flow...
thanks

Chillers are an easy concept...you have to chill it to be colder than the temperature outside to make it hang on the ground.
Getting the fog to make as much contact as possible with the ice to transfer the cold to the fog is essential.
Replace the fog with dry ice for even more cold transfer.

More surface area for the fog to contact. And go from ice to dry ice. Whatever ambient temp you are dealing with the fog needs to be colder to stay down.
You can try a double strike approach. First stage regular ice, then release into a second chamber with dry ice. If you use only dry ice, the super heated fog may evaporate your dry ice too fast. The stuff is not cheap.
