Not sure why I decided to do this today but I did ? I stopped using my bag of bones a few years ago because it just took too much time to set them up each year and it is also a major PIA to put them back in the bag they came in. Anyways, a while back I had the idea of attaching them all to a board I could use in front of one of my tombstones. Figured it would look better and save me a ton of time putting them out and packing them away again. Let me know what you think. Figured come fall I'll trim it out with some leaves. One thing we have no shortage of in our yard.

Was a simple and didn't cost me a dime. basically I hot glued some old burlap onto a piece of plywood, and then just glued each piece down after I arranged them. I went back and glued anywhere the parts touched for added strength. Added a few small twigs and some old stinky moss I had in a bag.

Great idea and it looks really good! I'd have to do fake leaves (no real fall down here ) but once you get it placed and leafed-up, it's going to look so nifty!

That mesh bag is the worst ! That is one of those things that you can NEVER get it back in the way it was when you got it.

Thanks, I am hoping to maybe add a couple of PVC candles to the board too. they are another thing that has been on my list for about the last 3 years.

Well, if you are even in need of some real leaves, just say the word. We actually have 2 trees in our front yard that drop leaves all year round apparently. Last weekend I actually filled 3 leafblower bags. I can't wait until fall again !

On the upside, the leaves are a blessing for Halloween. At my old house we collected leaves from the neighbors and dumped them in our graveyard.

I do something very similar to what you have done... I built a pile of bones and added a few coats of Dryloc than repainted to match my scene... I like the real old decay look... Nice job with the added twigs and such.

In this case simple is the best. It looks like someone that was just left for dead years ago. This is one of the little things that sets a haunt apart from the neighbourhood Walmart/Spirit home haunt. Great job.
