    Well done Halstaff,

I'm waiting on my eel from Bobzilla, it should be here this week. I was waiting to get it before I tried to figure out how to make the "pop out" mechanism. I have a 20" stroke cylinder (actually several of them) that I got for free last year and I was going to use one of them to push the eel out. If it is a heavy as you suggest, I too will make a "drawer slider" mach.

Bob has put a 1/4" tube up through the mouth of the one he made for me, and I got a big windshield washer fluid tank with a 12v small pump out of van in a junkyard a couple weeks ago for $3 that I will incorporate into making the eel spit a little when it shoots out. Just enough to startle people a little more.

Thanks for the video and the photos and again, great job.

My eel from Bobzilla arrived yesterday. It is amazingly detailed and I can't say enough about how much is was worth the $$$. If you guys haven't seen Bobzilla's stuff, check it out!

Will start work on the "mechanism" to move it this weekend.

I did get to see a couple of Bobzilla's Barrels with "gold" treasure coins (escudo's) inside thru broken side & see critters on the treasure chest at the Vallejo Pirate fest in June when Skulltronix was there.
Pics here & on Ebay don't them justice ! Awesome detail, if / when i do a pirate or sea theme haunt I would most definitely have to add his creations to it !

I almost want to get the eel just cause it looks so cool & realistic ! Most excellent work !!!!

After receiving a suggestion from The Watcher to mount the cylinder through the drawer, I've rebuilt the mechanism. The new design is much more compact and will be easier to hide.
