I am starting to make my props for the public haunted forest I am involved in doing and totally excited about doing it. I am making a bunch of props. I'll post them as I go along just for the fun of sharing itThanks to many of you that have inspired me in making such "easy to make" props!

Deadna----I made the body out of PVC pipe and chicken wire and posed the arms so they could move into positions from the shoulders. I made cement in large mens shoes to start my feet and legs with to stand it firmly. Got the shoes at the goodwill.

OM Goodness and Badness sandpipr! Love the "Cement Overshoes" idea to make the base of each figure! Now why didn't I thinka that! Sweet detail in the scarecrow too. I actually like the professional shirt on the body. Kinda sends a message to we who are stuck behind desks. "If I only had a brain..." and other scarecrow-ish themes will work well if you keep it that way... maybe add a tie and briefcase too!

Haha HallowSusieBoo-----I didn't think of that when I made the scarecrow about connecting it to the real world. I just wanted it to look like a guy in a mask---as real as possible. Got the shirt and shoes from the goodwill.
