im building a human cage for my home haunt this year and i need some advice on how to do it i was thinking to build a large box frame out of 2x4 and drill holes about the size of pbc pipe then when the frame is made just drop the pipe into the holes and theres the cage thoughts on it or how i could make it better?

Sounds good. To make it even better, use a couple metal pipes (maybe conduit or something). That way, you can bang on those pipes with something to make a nice metallic "clang".

Another possible improvement is to add something that looks like a locked door. Use the same pvc method.

One person did just this and then put rubber hose in the middle bars. This way the trapped ghoul could reach through and escape to terrorize the tots. Just paint the PVC flat black to match the hose.

well most of the people have "clicky gloves" so i like the metal bar idea and nice with the hose to they really wont be expecting that

Black cloth over the back lets the actor in/out easily. Take some time painting the bars, etc so they look "rusty" with a dry-brush technique to make it a bit more convincing.

ok will do this will be a pritty large cage to fit a few actors like 3+ so im going to take some time makeing it look good

Another suggestion for you: I use the black pvc pipe that comes in coils for my cemetery fence. It is flexible and will straighten with a heat gun, or cut it and leave it outside until you are ready to use it. This way you can "bend it" to escape. Also, being black, it's easier to "rust" it. Oh, and did I mention it's inexpensive too? HM
