Thread: Mini Amplifiers - Anyone use them? Review?

Curious if anyone on here has used these and can give a review on sound quality and loudness. When hooked up to your own speakers, does it put out better sound better than a set of cheap computer speakers?

I'm not familiar with this particular one, but I've heard that similar "MADE IN CHINA" amps give off a muffled sound.

I put one of these on my boat to hook my MP3 player up to and am VERY pleased. Great amplification and sound quality. I have 4 more sitting in my drawer for other uses. Comes with wall wart for power, too! Jeff

One of these connected to a pair of speakers should be much better than computer speakers! Computer speakers typically are very cheap, these are at least trying to put out good sound. They're using a decent amplifier chip. You can pick nits about the quality, but then you should also only buy vinyl records and keep them in an oxygen-free environment out of direct sunlight, because those CDs sound terrible, right? For use in a haunt...it should be great.

Don't know how small you need to go, but I've used this one on costumes before and it works great!

Thanks, putting it in a MIB and didn't want to spend $45 for another Pyle Amp from Amazon and wanted something much louder than computer speakers.

Oh geez, for a MIB it's probably too good. Ignore everything they said about "fuzzy" sounds. No one will care!

One advantage...with good speakers you can make people JUMP with the growls.

Went ahead and got two. Coming from Hong Kong so it'll take awhile to get here.
