I found this light at a garage sale for $3.00. Not sure if I could incorporate it into my electric chair prop or not.

Any ideas of what i can use this for i was think of placing a strobe inside it but not sure.

Right off I would say part it out and use the reflecting pan as the electric chair's skull cap. Its a bit big but it would work. If you go with the strobe idea you could take off the tripod stand and place it behind the "condemned" for a great strobing/ electrocution effect.

Place a large styrofoam ball shape on top of the tripod stand, drape some cheesecloth over it and light it with a black light for a easy "ghost" effect.

    Hope this helps, Marc

That's a nice pretty good light stand for $3.00. I would be tempted to keep it in tact. I purchased a couple of those with diffuser umbrellas from a photography store for a great deal more. But if If you want to apart. I would hang it from above your scene and rig a motor so that it gently sways back and fourth. Or I thought a saw a tutorial in this forum on how to make a repeating flicker in a light as if the power was being drained.
