I'd recommend not using styrofoam-- I read somewhere (a couple years back, or I'd provide the source) that the styrofoam plus the fog make some kinda toxic fume. I recommend a plastic storage bin in lieu of the styrofoam. They come in a lot of shapes and sizes.

If you're worried about fumes, line the inside with a black garbage bag. Have it poke through the holes you cut, and tape it in place. Problem solved.
