Hi All,

Time to start on a few props for Halloween 2011! I am looking for a good source for deer motors. I know they are available at Kindy's and CWebDirect, but there has to be some other suppliers out there. I'm looking to get about 8 - 10 motors and the budget is really tight this year. I thought about going the car vent gearmotor route, but after buying all the extras (wall wart, linkage, etc.) it may be just as much. It seems with all the prop building the members on this site do, someone would have hooked up a source.

Any help would be awesome!

cw has been out of them and not expecting any in till oct.
The only place i could find them was kindys and they don't have the arm part that cw has.

I don't think you will get them cheaper than 8.99.

try yardsales they sell animatronic deers around here (indiana) for like 5 or 6 bucks

Hmm, I wonder if we could group buy this.

Probably wrong time of the year but have you tried an ad in local paper. After Christmas I posted one advertising my hauling away any broken animated deer and probably got 10 or so. Most just have blown bulbs but the motors are fine. For the $7 dump fee after stripping them I thought it was a good deal.
