Does anyone know how to make the drop down spiders? I want to have some small (not ring size but hand size) spiders drop up and down for my Little miss Muffet scene besides my giant spider and miss muffets cocoon body. can anyone help me or direct me to where to go?

I would suggest a FCG rig and just attach spiders to the lines instead of the ghost.

Are you looking for one that will drop down then climb back up? Google the "Bungee Jumping Spider of Doom". I bought one years ago and they work pretty good, but they are sound-activated. It may be possible to hack it to use a PIR sensor or manual switch.
They're also sold as bird deterrents:

I have a spider like that too, bought it from Party City several years ago just for Halloween. I usually put it somewhere where I have a loud sound effect or where people will scream so it works well.

Looks just like the bungee jumper and woodpecker spiders just hairy with blinking LED eyes.

Looked them up and there is only one place here in AZ that seems to sell them. I am going to go Monday a buy one to see how well it would work at my front door.

well you use a motor with a shaft on it. the spider is attached to a string that winds around the shaft. when activated the motor and shaft tilt down and the string slides off and the spider flies down.

Make sure that it can't hit anyone on the head. The spider is kinda heavy and drops fast.
