I have decided to build a zombie barricade/fence in a section of my garden next to my path. I have some metal fencing about 7 foot high and am thinking of standing 3 or 4 zombie props in various poses pushing and trying to break through. I also plan on adding sound effects of zombies and rattling fences etc. This is the first real prop I have done so I was just wanting any advice on lighting as it's in a dark part of the garden. Thanks.

Great idea! I suggest strobe lighting as that makes static items look like they are moving. You can put a color gel over it if you want different colors. Like red or yellow (or both) ... it would look alarming.

Thanks terra I like the ideas especially the strobe lights to make them look as though they are moving. Gonna be trial and error for me this year i think.

I'd also get a couple of LED spotlights (I use minispotlight.com) in a deep color, and use them to soften the harshness of the strobe by itself. They also ensure that the detail and effort you put into it wont be missed/lost.
