I have a cineart bust that this was cast from. But dont want to modify it in any way. especially since I am seeing these on ebay for about $400.
So I was considering buying one of these so I can cut its head off and mount on my maniquin.
any comments on its quality.

That sellers negatives and neutrals make it sound like they took a lot of shortcuts in recasting their molds. Looks like assembly might take more time and effort than it should.

Yeah, I e mailed then asking about assembly.
they said this particular kit only requires the neck bolts to be added.
I wouldnt even use them, cause the ones pictured in the kit arent right. I would make my own.
only concern is the painting. It can make or break this.

The best way is to experiment on something cheap like a mask or a coated Styrofoam head.
Do you own an airbrush?
I painted mine the classic Herman Munster pale green. But I remember seeing a Boris Karloff bust released in b&w. It looked very cool.
