hey folks am starting on a grave digger and this wil be a good walk thru. ive already started so ill post progress pis along the way!
okay im using a simple pvc mannequin shown in the pics below.
the motor i am using and just bought is shown here:

on the mannequin will be 2 screws coming out of each side of the motor and a screw in the turning pvc that leads up to the mannequin head.
next i ordered a mask and hands!

i am now in the process while waiting for the other parts to arrive i need to get a suit and im makin foarm hands to go inside of the gloves. basically i took medical gloves and filled the with great stuff which will keep a form of a hand and then i can modify it if need be.

Don't be afraid to bend the PVC for the arms and legs so he's not just standing there straight.

hmm good idea im thinking of offsetting the legs so he doesnt look so perfectly normal

I'd advise being careful with that particular brand of mirror ball motor. I tried to use one for my crank ghost when I first made him, but it was too much weight. It resulted in one of the gears breaking, so now the shaft jolts and slips when it rotates. I ended up having to go with a more powerful motor. I use the broken one in my cauldron stirrer. It actually gives a nice, more natural look to the motion in that circumstance.
Just be careful to keep the workload on it low so you don't mess up the gears like I did.LKSmart <3
