Thread: Finished my columns

I posted a couple weeks ago about the columns I started:


I had run out of foam.I get it for free at work just had to wait for more to come in.

Well more scraps came in I finished up & did some painting on them.


Now I need to find a couple gargoyles for the top.


Which one do you like better the dark or the lighter? I did some experimenting with the paint while I was doing the second one.

I like the dark one better. Gives it more of a old stone look.

The columns are fantastic. Like the dark one better too. Hey, consider keeping the zombie baby as the gargoyle. It's a hilarious modern take

Or you could stick with the light one but give it more dark weathering streaks and stains.

Those turned out great! I like the darker one too.

Thanks for the kind words folks. I like the darker one myself. Guess I'll be redoing the other one to match tonight.

Very nice. I also prefer the darker-colored column. Majority wins, huh?

I have to say that the darker one is more appealing to me.

They look great! You did a good job. I'm going to have to agree with everyone here that I like the dark one as well.

great columns! i too painted my tombstones light when i started making them and i went for darker myself. i think it gives off a more creepy vive
