Thread: Do you buy slime or make your own?

Lately I've done something I've wanted to do since I was a kid and that's to make my own slime. I've made a lot of it but unfortunately I can't take any pictures of it right now. Anyway a friend of mine told me that since I was making so much that I should sell it. It's a good idea because people can use it for props and kids just like to play with it. But I'm not sure if anyone would buy it or not. Some people (like most people here) would probably be more willing to make it themselves. So what would make you buy slime other than making it?

- No knowledge of how to make it?

- Convenience?

- Size?

P.S. - This isn't product peddling or anything, just an idea.

It's way easy to make, and with google available, it's way easy to find the recipe if you are so inclined to make it.

I couldn't see starting up a business for it, but selling it to friends and family (or at school functions and the like) would be a good idea - folks that don't generally make things themselves or for school stuff where unique and fun will definitely get the kids' attention... that would be a good place to sell.

Yeah, I think I'm going to keep it at a close/local level. That's if I do decide to do it. Thanks.
