Hey all
I've teamed up once again with my two special effect friends to create this zombie/mermaid figurehead. She is still in the very early stages, but you'll get the idea from a few of the photos. She will have the traditional fish tail, but for her hair, we've decided to go with octopus tentacles
She will look like she's attached to the "front/bow" of a ship and have a very weathered/erosion look to her. The zombie "look" will come in the form of the way she is painted. We will have a few different color schemes for her, a regular weathered/wood look...lots of erosion and wood grain/knots, and for you zombie lovers, hidden within the "erosion" will be zombie like wounds/bones, etc painted with different color Wildfire fluorescent paint only visible under black light. At least that's the general idea...for now....hope that made sense? lol

Oh man, your concept is awesome, awesome, awesome! Tentacle hair? LOVE it. So far she's looking terrific. Gonna be glued to this thread.
