Hi all!
Thought I might try my hand at some Apothecary Jars.
The first has its inspiration taking from the "Miskatonic Expedition".
The creature is constructed using wire, hot glue, condoms, glass paints and resin.
The jar is about 2 foot high and 4 1/2 inches wide.
The second is just knocked together in 10 minutes for fun, while the lid on the first drys. Please note the lids illusive shadowing in shots.
Hope you enjoy, if there is enough interest, I can do a run through on making either or.
Thanks for looking
Mitch.

"We accommodate the living, but who shall accommodate the dead?"
"We say haunted, but we mean the house has gone insane."

Those look great! Very creative!

Thank you all very muchly!

Knocked up another, shall post it when my camera is charged.
Edit- There it is.
Wax is a mixture of yellow, green, white and charcoal for blackening. Turned out kind of pretty, looks dark but has nice green/yellow undertones in the sunlight. My hand writing is atrocious, though oddly similar to a Doctors.
I generally only get sub 13 year olds at Halloween, so the creatures don't need to be all that believable. This little guy is a latex glove finger tip, alum foil and a few ear cotton tips punctured from the inside out.

I absolutely LOVE them. Very creepy. I especially like the old typewriter label, really lends an air of authenticity. Great job!!

Thankyou MHooch, so do I!

I was fortunate to give my girlfriend an old type writer for valentines one year, as that is what she wanted at the time.
Looks like it is serving me well too though, given your response.
Tis' a task using it though as I am un-familar, still can't find the "1" key.
