Id like to get these and put them in my rum drinking pirate barrel. It seemed like a waste to make the prop and only have a strobe on him as it didnt show him off very well.
Perhaps if I had these inside the water filled barrel he will illuminate better. I read in the reviews that someone used these in her water filled vases at her wedding and held up fine.
Says water proof not water tight, I knows theres a difference, lol.
Im thinking of these and they are a great price. I think you can change the batteries too as it says you need those? Doesnt say what kind though.

I would say it would work. Most items that are marked waterproof are sumersible. If they were used as the review stated you are good to go.

I use them through out the yard for illuminating headstones. I struggle with believing they will survive in a bucket of water. My sprinklers tend to make them steam up.
There are plenty of other low voltage submersible options.

You could try submersible lights for ponds. They're not expensive. Here's the place we're looking at for lights for our pond.

They also do pet supplies so they're good for all sorts of pet related things from cat trees to dog runs to pond lights.Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

really Johan? Steamed up lights, hrmm... I guess as long as the light is still present it will be alright, I could always attach them to the inside of the bucket.
RCIAG, thats a neat sight but nothing seemed as cheap as the target lights. I loved the waterfall light, wish I had a garden with one of those :3

I have a pond and I got my lights at harbor freight. They were about$ 20. They came with different color lenses. They look great.

I've never tried the brinkman lights, but these Sylvania Dot it LEDs are submersible Amazon.com: OSRAM SYLVANIA DOT-IT H2O Yellow Waterproof LED light: Kitchen & Dining Home Depot had them on clearance for $1.08 about 2 years ago. My only regret is not buying 50 them. They are magnetic and come with velcro too.

Ooo yeah, those ones from Sylvania look nice. Ill check out harbor freight. I was thinking of doing colored sharpies to get the color effect since I cant find my gels I got from the circus when I worked there.

if you where to try to light up a bowl or fogging cauldron you can just get the appropriate colored LED and a 3 volt button cell and coat the whole thing in hot glue. it will stay on continuously but the hot glue is easy to remove and put back on
