Bought a coupe of these today. May be a bit cheesy but I like it. It will be going up September 1st!

Back when we had railing along our front porch I would intertwine our fall garland with our orange lights. It looked quit nice at night.

Personally I don't think lighted garland is cheesy (unless it's the outrageously garish Xmas variety) but hey, even cheese has its place! We used leaf garland similar to yours last year all throught the house for our "Welcome Autumn" party & later to good effect outside- it straggled like blown leaves up against our decrepit old fence (no illusions there- our homemade haunt fence really is getting old & decrepit) that surrounded the "abandoned home" our mannequin paranormal team was investigating:

This will probably stay inside, hadn't really thought of putting it outside, although I suppose it could go around our cemetary fence?

Unless your fence is way smaller than ours, it takes a LOT of garland. I actually made the lighted garland on the fence in the pic by intertwining a big box of orange LED string sets we had lying around from previous haunts & some leaf garland I picked up at partycheap.com. The nicer readymade stuff for the party went only inside.

Like the garland you bought- good price!

Actually these strands are 11 feet each so yeah I could wrap it around my cemetary. It's not that big yet and just came into fruition last year! LOL

I wish I had some for my home. I could use a hundreds of them for my graveyard-pumpkin theme i am planning to re-do.

Marie i like your ghost hunter outside. I thought that was funny.

You got the joke! 2010's yard haunt theme started as an in-joke on me & my love for ghost hunting tv shows, NOWHINING.

The three ghost hunters are all so intent on recording the two little moving ghosts in the old family graveyard that they're missing all the activity (flashing blacklit spectres, strobes in windows, moan/shrieks from inside, outside, & the back yard) happening all around them .

We had the family Explorer done up with "Burbank Paranormal Research" stickers/logos all over it, which is why it stayed in the driveway for the haunt with strobes a-flashin' inside! BPR is an real paranormal investigation team around here, BTW.

Murtisha, I love that stuff! The lighted variety is pretty costly, so you got a good deal. I bought some from Grandin Road in their outlet. It was on sale there FOREVER at too high a price. i just kept my eye on it like an obsessive freak and finally it came down to 9.99. I got a few strands, and I am putting it on my porch and hoping it looks ok!
September is getting closer! Post pics!
