Has anyone ever made a moving (pop up pneumatic or mechanical) Beloved or Eternal Tombstone? Would be kind of neat to see one lift her head. Can't you see this Eternal tombstone by
buckaneerbabe popping her head up to reveal a skeleton face with glowing red eyes!?

    Awesome stone by the way!

you would place a cylinder connecting the neck to the back of the head and when it retracts her head would pop up revealing a skeleton face

Something similar to that is on my list of potential props for this year. I have a very complected movement in mind and I don't want to deal with pneumatics at this time but I'm pretty sure I have if mostly figured out. The worst part will be dealing with making sure the monster mud doesn't crumble.

I was thinking of this as well. Something like Terra's version, but with the hand moving over the stone's face. Could easily be done with a motor and cam. The elbow would just need to be jointed.

I just purchased pvc joints from Spider Hill Prop Works to use for the arm movements for this. Might not be built this year, but it is on my to do list. http://www.spiderhillpropworks.com/s...&product_id=49

    gr8 idea!

something simpler would be a "shaking" prop and crying sound effects so that it looks like she's sobbing? naturally the prop couldn't be really stiff or heavy.

    amk
