BOTTLES, lots & lots of bottles! And guns. Pinstriped suits & fedoras. Flapper girls.

Flapper girls? Props? –

Sure, bottles and guns and pinstriped suites and fedoras. But flapper girls are not props, they are people. And should be treated like people - not objects. Unless they are mannequins or something - those are indeed props and should be treated as such. Actually, there is nothing wrong with treating a prop as you would a person - but you may get some strange looks. Be prepared to deal with that.

Beer and liquor! Lots of beer and liquor! Maybe I should come over and test it to make sure the taste is of that time period too......
And lots of wooden barrels. Watch Boardwalk Empire for ideas.

We will use bottles, use some Jack Daniels bottles and prob Jim Beam I want to use some recognized bottles that have been around a long time. We will use some empty beer boxes to stack in a corner, I have one wooden barrel that will go in this scene. For Costumes I have one ganster lady and one flapper girl, I can get more. I figured most guys can just get away with suit and tie. I will be looking for tommyguns. We plan on making a bar, my friend suggested going to a junkyard, and getting the backend of a car, just using the trunk. Not sure how that will work. We have toyed the idea of a casino table. Just wondering if there is something I may be missing?

You can get away with white dress shirts , black dress pants, black leather shoes, black suspenders. black thin tie, and slick hair. I have seen acouple people pull off a "Working" mobster image very well. Just dirty up you shirt alittle, maybe bloody your knuckles too.
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside of us

If you can make up some period advertising, maybe have that, along with a darboard & some lit sconces on the wall?
