    Wow it's so cool.
Where Hinges creek in doorless chambers... And where strange and Frightening sounds Echo...through the halls... Whenever candlelights flicker... where the air is DEATHLY STILL... that is the time when GHOSTS are present... Practicing their terror, with GOULISH DELIGHT...

Man, that IS cool! Just think of that in a dim hallway.

I haz an idea if you want. The video can be made easily.

edit* I made a huge explanation then realized its probably too wordy and Ill just say I can make the video.

All you need is a place to put an lcd with a frame over it, or hide the rca tv in the wall or make the peppers ghost setup.

Im not sure about the trigger, but the video can be made easy if thats the hang up

Yea, that would be fun to try to build something like that. It's a really good scare!

How much was that thing, anyway??

With the price of digital picture frames rapidly decreasing; you should be able to get a similar effect using a large digital picture frame (with AV support and remote control) some Gila privacy mirror film (two way mirror effect) and your video footage. All acheivable for under $150, under $100 if you already have some of the items.

I might have over simplified the details though!

LCD PC monitor, Mirrored window film (or just a black cloth scrim), and a large oval frame.

Same idea as the Magic Mirror I did the last two years. Check my photos page and build post.

This looks like another must have prop for 2011. Similar to the axe madman hitting the door and making axe strikes.

I think Hi rez designs may have to jump on the video production and give us what we want. It will be easier to create because it lacks cylinder mounting. All you would do is frame out a Hi-def Televison in an oval shape.

Well, maybe you can do something similar, by projectig something from behind a two way mirror. To make a two way mirror your way, here is a video I found of how to make a two way mirror using common plexiglass and film. On the video they talk about where did they got the materials. Hope it helps you.
