Maybe switch the polarity. Try reversing the wires.

hook a light up using the nc1 and com1 - nc= normally closed.
the light should be on until triggered then will go off. this way you know the unit is working
what are you using for a trigger?
remember this is basically a switch so you must have the same side of the electric line in the nc1 and the com1 - this is not like a wall plug where you put in both electric lines
you can pm me if you still have trouble -Now serving blog at http://www.blogcrypt.com/Unk/

I suspect you are on the right track. Chris may be wiring this like it was a Picoboo that has AC outputs.
Chris,
Monsterguts shows a very simple example. Take a spare 2 wire extension cord. NOT !!! plugged in. Cut one of the two wires in the middle. Pull that wire away from the other and strip the ends say 3/8 of an inch. Take one stripped end and put it in the com1 on the nervecenter. Take the other stripped end and put it in NO1 or as UNK advises put it in NC1. Then plug a lamp into the extension cord and plug the extension cord into the wall or a power strip. If you have the second wire connected into NO1 then nothing will happen until you trigger the nervecenter. If you have the second wire connected into NC1 then the lamp will be on until you trigger the nervecenter and then the lamp will go off and on based on your inputs. As UNK explained. You are dealing with nothing more than a switch. No power of any kind is supplied to the two relays from the nervecenter. Unlike the Picoboo you used for your MITB.

When you have issues like this, you go to basics.
1. What prop are you trying to control?
2. Does the prop work on it's own?
3. Do you have some basic diagnostic tools? Like a Volt Ohm meter?
4. Did you hook your prop up to the NC1 like UNK advised?
5. Did you do the extension cord test that monsterguts shows?
http://monsterguts.com/manuals/NC_how_to.htm
Keep in mind that if you wire to Com1 and NC1 that you need to do nothing to see if the light works. I would start out with that. Get a basic light to stay on. Then program the unit with some input and see if the light goes on and off. If it does not, and you are sure you have a routine saved then the unit may be defective. To make sure wire the light to Com2 and NC2 and see if a routine that is done for the second track also does not offer a response.
Since you like to draw, how about drawing a circuit diagram on how you have it wired. And don't forget. Start off with a basic light.

i didnt connect the unit to any prop yet i sat it on the table and plugged one ens of the sliced cord into com1 and one end into nc 1 and then plugged the extension in and on the female end pluggged a light in and the light did not light up. i could not figure out why so i will try switching the polarity!

I had a similar problem today. I had programed the Nerve Center to operate a pneumatic cylinder/ solenoid on com1 and nc1. Nothing. The light for ch1 was flashing/clicking with the program I recorded, but the solenoid wasn't working. I then switched the wires to com2/nc2 and it worked. The lights for ch1 were flashing, but it work in com2/nc2 instead. Must be some internal wiring issue. So, try switching your wiring input for shiz and giggles.

I likes me spinach Arr Arr Arr Arr.
Well that is interesting. Sounds like Chris has the same issue. So it looks like the units are cross wired. If you indeed are seeing the Ch1 LED responding and the routine is running on Ch2, then you have likely found the issue. My guess is that the recent sale resulted in a bunch of units with incorrect wiring. It could be just some connectors reversed, but one would have to open the unit to find out. My guess is that Monsterguts will want the unit back for repair or replacement. Not good for PR if they put out units that were not properly tested.

okay so if i want the solenoid off until activated what shoiuld i connect it to. it has to bwe the terminal i switched the polarity and even harwired the extesnion cord back together seperatly to make sure it wasnt the wire that was bad and it worked so it has to be the terminal if someone can tell me whihcto go for lemme know thanks! id like to have the prop off until activated.
