This is my first ever homemade halloween prop, the first of 4 or 5 cemetery columns. 3 coats of drywall mud sanded. PVC candle inside of a candle holder I got from Hobby Lobby at 50% off. Everything is wired up to have a C9 flicker candle light bulb. Still need to put a couple coats of Drylock on to seal it all up. Then weathering and on to the next one.

Nice job on your first prop....soon you'll be posting tons of new props that you've made.

Thanks caniac. Next would be to add some cracks and try and do the exposed brick technique that I have seen on some great columns on this forum. Couple of coats of Dryock. Weathering.
