For all you VSA junkies, looks like Brookshire Software just released a new version.

Here is an excerpt from an email I just received:

Oooh, pleasant and unexpected surprise. Looks like it has solid support for 7.1 sound files now.

They really should offer an upgrade price. Kind of hard to keep coming up with full price every time they come out with a version with added features. IMHO

they do have an upgrade price if you bought version 4.0
Im debating between the professional or the ultimate. Price is alot higher then the nice 49.99 for the 4.0. But the features are nicer as well

If you didn't get offered the discount coupons for owning 4.0, I'd shoot them an email.

Do yall think the price difference is worth it?

I think the biggest advantage is the video sync... I've had a few people asking me if I could incorporate this into Helmsman. Looks like I don't have to now.

Too expensive. I bought their 4.0 version but there is no way I am shelling out that kind of money for an upgrade. I can write my own servo control software (I don't need support for any other hardware) easily enough. I just may do that.
