Today in a dumpster outside of my work I found a dancing santa with a 4rpm gear motor inside with ac adapter included. Well, you know that to a yard haunter, finding a motor is like winning the lottery. My question is what should I build with this? I built my first/only animatronic prop last year (A FCG), what should my newest attraction be this year?

Thanks in advance for the advice...

That is pretty much the same as the reindeer motors... do a search for reindeer and it should pull up some interesting posts. Nice score for free!

Power the motor . See if it still works.

I lost a lot of time building props around used motors only to have it run a very few times then quit for good (4-bad, actually)

Tested the motor quite a few times and it works fine. I cannot get pics of the entire santa prop since the garbage man picked up his corpse. I don't think it was a dancing santa, just a waving or head moving santa.
