Hello everyone,
I haven't used a prop controller before but MonsterGuts is having a sale on their "Nerve Center". I was going to get one since they are asking $50, but just wanted to know if it is a decent setup?

they are great controllers. i too am getting in on the deal. They have 2 minutes of animation i belive but you can set up up to 8 different sequceneces of animation and sound so its not so repetitive. if you going for a props that you want alittle different each time its triggered go for it. especially at 50 bucks its cheaper then fright ideas controllers

I've never used one of these controllers but for the price they seem awesome! I have been debating about getting one too.
I have 2 picoboos that seem similar but they will only play one routine and can control 2 props but the price is much more..

From the description it looks like it has one input to know when the prop has been triggered, but can you direct the "output" to more than one prop? Such as a prop that turns on and then two different color floods flash alternately?

It is a great controller. I would compare it to the Picoboo104 version which is $89. Yes you can use this for 2 props.
Let's assume you have 2 Thrash can pop ups. Input one controls cylinder #1, input 2 controls cylinder #2. Now the nerve center has 8 programmable routines which loop or I believe you can shuffle or randomize. Which will give you many different scares.
You also can add lights and your own relays which you can use for constant on items like a fog machine or strobe light. So when the routine plays the strobe and fog will both turn on. The sky is the limit and for $50 it is a steal.

Thanks for the input. Didn't want to throw my Halloween budget away on something that doesn't function as advertised.
Muhahaha!!
